Maybe that's a sort of hole in the series... You're right, he does seem to be doing the Kage Bunshin hand-sign. But maybe he was faking that. yeah, maybe he just faked Kage Bunshin and called out the name too. But it was still just basic clones.
As for the issue with Sandaime, that still doesn't explain why he doesn't know Hiraishin and Chidori. Neither are Kekkei Genkai and both are Konoha Jutsu.
I doubt Sandaime knew ALL of the Jutsu of Konoha. I still haven't checked that out yet, but I will. I think you came across a translation error. or maybe not. I'll have to check, because I don't know for sure.
But I still think you shouldn't list Jutsu unless the character has actually used them.

Drowning Maelstorm jutsu wasn't the first combo jutsu we have seen. Kakuzu combine his Katon: Intense Pain and his Futon: Pressure Damage to create an more powerul and larger attack that's still unamed.

Even that wasn't the first combo jutsu. There's that Shadow Shuriken jutsu that Naruto and Sasuke use against Zabuza. There's also Kiba and Akamaru jutsu that they use against Sakon.

Shadow Shuriken Jutsu that Sasuke did wasn't a combination Jutsu. It was just Naruto giving Sasuke the extra Shuriken which was really Naruto using Transformation.
And the Rare Beast Transformation: Soutourou wasn't a combo Jutsu either. That was just Kiba using a Jutsu which combined him and Akamaru together.
What i mean is when two characters/one character forms two separate specific Jutsu and then use them together with each other forming a completely new Jutsu.

Turns out Teen Goten was right. Apparently, Sandaime DID know all existing Jutsu in Konoha.

Still, I think you should only list Jutsu that the characters have actually USED.

You sure your not confusing know all Jutsu as in what they are and how to fight them with knowing how to preform the Jutsu.

As it was said in the same breath that he is "master of over 1,000 illusions" (genjutsu alone), it seems that it was reffering to his actuall ability to perform the techniques.

Weird...

However, he couldn't perform that manner of technique without a kekkei genkai, unless he's actually....memorized the precice locations of each and every chakra node on the human body...he could probably perform the movements, but it would have to exclude techniques that are unique to a certain bloodline.

You wouldn't need the Byakugan to use the Sixty Four Palms technique. Like you said it would be less effective but if what is said is true he must know how to use it which to me seems...weird.

We already discuss this, but I'm going to say it again. Anyone could learn Gentle Fist. The Byakugan makes the fighting style more effective, but one doesn't need to attack chakra or pressure points.
