No, it's just a picture of him transforming, there's no 'semi-CS' pre-shippuden. How do you not get that?

Wait wait, i'm sure it's not him transforming. I'd say he's actually reverting to his normal form. When Sasuke broke out of the barrel, he was partially transformed into his CS2 form correct? He had the dark skin and long grey hair but he didn't have the wings. Before he laughed and left the scene, his hair and skin changed back to normal. Then later when Naruto caught up, we see that picture of Sasuke.
Now in CS2 transformation the curse grows across the face from the side and darkens the eyes correct? In CS the eyes do not darken and change colour.
So it seems to me, that during that scene showing Sasuke's face the Curse Seal was still retreating back to it's dormant form from being in it's CS2 state.

The image above is Sasuke in his Semi CS form (without the Sharingan). Sasuke transform into his CS 1.5 form (without the Sharingan) when he faced Juugo. See for yourselves.





Therefore, Sasuke had great control over his CS power even before the timeskip.

Also, it still doesn't seem like a "form" to me, at all, it's just the curse seal spreading. The difference is that he's moving straight into a level two curse seal activation without bothering to fully activate the first one.

Like I said before, Sasuke had great control over the CS even before the timeskip. Sasuke was definitely stronger than Kimimaro back then.

It's possible that he may have been a little stronger at CSL2...like barely. Still, we don't know that he actually has complete "control" over it, he could still barely stay in curse seal level two at all. I don't know how it is for him now, but assuming it's not the same, he didn't, and assuming it is...then that's just the way CSL2 works.
