Piccolo (Android Saga) vs. Mecha Frieza
I think that Piccolo is stronger than SSJ Goku on planet Namek, but I don't know about stronger than Mecha Frieza. I really don't lean any which way on this one. Let the debat begin.

I never believed Piccolo fully surpassed a Super Saiyan until his merger with Kami, so I go with Frieza. It would be a close fight, however.

Makes sense. I still think he was stronger than SSJ Goku, but I'd be willing to put him as low as 100% Frieza on Namek.

I think Piccolo would decimate Mecha Freeza at this point. Krillin's quote definitely isn't the reason why, either.

I'd say Piccolo. Mecha Freeza probably would underestimate him and let his guard down and then Piccolo knowing his enemy would probably be able to hit him with a Special Beam Cannon, Hell Zone Grenade, Masenko or anything.

It would be very close. I'll give it to Mecha Frieza, but it can easily go to piccolo as well. Depends on how strong you think piccolo was at that time, but definitly if Piccolo i fused with Kami, then Frieza has no chance.

Piccolo. Kuririn acted like he hit a new roof in power, and given that he had 3 years to train with SSj Goku (and that the resulting power output Piccolo displayed vindicates this), I feel Piccolo would win. Mecha Freeza was probably stronger than his former, organic self by a significant length, but remember that his vanity was more prevalent than anything else, and prolonging his life more or less openly conceded defeat.
