Basically if Trunks didn't have the speed weakness how would he rank up against his father in the Cell Games (When he fought the Cell Juniors)?

Vegeta would win. With the extra training, and the fact that he was at least above 50% MSSJ Goku, he would win the battle. He's a better fighter, and has better abilities. So he would win.

After the heck of a battle to end all the 'heck of a battles', I think Trunks would overcome Vegeta. I'd say that Vegeta is somewhere in-between suppressed Perfect Cell and USSJ Trunks, leaning more towards the Trunks side. But it would be a great fight.

I don't think Vegeta got much stronger after his second trip to the ROSAT. Trunks wins.

umm, it was shown that vegeta is just as strong as trunks, even when he's buffed up, vegeta just never used it

That doesn't mean he was weaker than Vegeta. Trunks was stronger than a supressed Cell and Vegeta was weaker than a supressed Cell. Trunks was just slower.

I put Trunks (Grade 3) far stronger than Vegeta. And without loss of Speed Trunks win easily.

I put USSJ Trunks without loss of speed somewhere between MSSJ and SSJ2. He'd be sort of like Broli (I know he's non-canon, but he's the perfect candidate to base fast USSJ Trunks on. Although Trunks wouldn't be as much of an idiot ;) )

So yeah Trunks wins this easily

Same opinion here. I think people don't give credit to the power increase that Zet Senshi got in their second trip to the ROSAT simple because you don't actually see what the characters are capable of do. Cell was clearly way from their power and the filler scene with Vegeta's Bing Bang attack doesn't actually help.

However the fact Trunks and Vegeta (both at SSj) hold against Cell Jr.'s (they are around Cell Jr.'s power (wondering if this was ever stated?)) prove they actually got stronger since before their second trip to the ROSAT their SSj form are around Cell [2nd form] in power.

If you mean Vegeta´s Final Flash or Big Bang attack, it was seen in the manga.

I was referring when he fired his Final Flash (I miswrote by Bing Bang, sorry) and the Cell Jr. treated it like nothing. Another reason why most fillers suck since that would place Cell Jr. stronger than even Cell. o_0
