Who would be more useful against Recoome. Goku was about 8,000 or so, and Gohan was stated at around 10,000, give or take a little. Goku has Kaio-Ken, but less power than Gohan. I think it would be Goku, but let's hear what you think.

...And no, Goku can't use the Spirit Bomb.

Gohan would be more useful becasuse of his "enraged power", which can exceed his normal power by a whole lot. If Goku used a Kaioken beyond the basic, he would start to generate too much strain, and would be weakened enough for the Ginyu to pummel him. Gohan wouldn't get ay weaker, so he would be better.

A logical argument. I can't remember, how did Gohan use his enraged power against Recoome. I (now) vaguely remember Gohan using it, but I have no idea how he used it. Was it for just one attack?

I wonder if Goku's Kaio-Kenx4 Kamehameha would have any effect whatsoever on Recoome. I doubt it.

He never had a chance to use it against Recoome, since the battle was a very short one. Gohan used it against Freeza, and we saw how effective it was, that's why I think it would exceed Kaioken. When Goku used Kaioken x4+Kame-Hame-Ha against Vegeta, it damaged him, but not nearly enough.

Now you have someone several times more powerful, and the attack would probably be deflected. I'm also sure Vegeta's Final Flash was a more powerful attack then that.

Goku can Kaioken his power level to 16,000 without any doubt whereas you have to expect Gohan to get enraged. And Gohan only gets enraged when one of his friends gets injured. If it's just Gohan versus Recoome he would have nobody to get mad for.

Goku's Kaioken is definite, he can use it for sure whereas Gohan can't use his enraged powers at will if at all in this matchup.

Goku is also much more experienced and tends to stay calm in situations where he is the underdog. He also has more durability and a higher will to survive as shown by his fight against 50% Frieza and Great Ape Vegeta.

Gohan tends to get frightened and panic, even in this saga, as shown in the fight against Ginyu in Goku. If it was Goku in that situation he wouldn't dare hesitate to demolish Ginyu.

Goku wins this one.

But he loses to Recoome anyway so who cares.

I agree with your opinion. I didn't think that Goku's attack would have any effect, unless, perhaps, he caught Recoome off-guard. I forget Gohan's enraged power when this came to mind, I guess. Thank you for your replies.

Out of Curiosity, do you think Goku would be of more use than Krillin. I'd be surprised if he was not. As USSJed elegently put it, Krillin was 'killed' in one kick by Recoome. I think Goku would take more than one kick... maybe two!

Good point Frieza. And by the way, this would be Recoome vs. Vegeta+Krillin+Gohan/Goku, and I'm wondering who would be better to have with him.

Krillin's only more useful if he decides to use his skills, but he usually doesn't. I would think Goku is more useful then him.

My thoughts as well. If Krillin used his attacks with all of his power, or at least a little strategy, he could have come in handy.

A simple Taiyoken along with a Kienzan would even be good enough. For some reason, he only uses them when hes tryin to escape, or when the enemy has their guard down.

I never noticed that before... Do you think it might have do to with using to much Ki at once, or maybe it's to hard to control both attacks one after the other.

But if he chooses not to do that, then Goku is the better one to have along.

I don't think Taiyoken uses any energy, but it depends on the sun being out. The Kienzan does require power, but he probably just never thought about it.

Poor Krillin forgetting his attacks against Recoome for no good reason.

I mean you forget your attacks against someone with a power of 4x yours, but you can remember them against someone with a power of 50-10x yours? That doesn't seem right.

Maybe Recoome was enough stronger than Krillin that he forgot everything, and Frieza was enough stronger than that that so Krillin remembers everything as his life flashed before his eyes? It could be true, right?

Well, Recoome did attack him rather quickly, so that could be why. Freeza was about to finish Gohan off when he fired his Kienzan, and used his Taiyoken when Freeza was about to punch him, so they were kinda different now that I think about it.

Recoome seemed to be more focused on finishing his enemies, while Freeza, on the otherhand, liked to make them feel hopeless against his power.
