Hmmm...
This is indeed interesting. Tien has more techniques and is very skilled, Piccolo is intelligent and very skilled too. Tien has the Tri-Beam but Piccolo has the Special Beam Cannon which has advantage on speed. I give it to Piccolo because of his SBC, but that is just one kids opinion. Tien can win also if he starts using the Tri-Beam.

I thought that everything was included in this battle. To be honest, a power up time would be useless in this battle, it's one on one, which means both sides are concentrating on defeating each other, so there would be no time to power up. Piccolo could pull out a Hellzone Grenade still(Tien can copy Piccolo's Hellzone Grenade though), and Tien's Solar Flare wouldn't work much since Piccolo can sense Ki. I'm not saying that Tien will definitely lose, Tien can still win since this is an equal power level match, I just favor Piccolo more than Tien.

I think Piccolo is one of the most skilled fighters in DBZ. His move list is ridiculously long, he has so many backup plans that it's unbelievable. He has regneration, the special beam cannon, he can turn into a giant etc. Tien loses horribly.

I'd agree with Deckzone3000. Tien's techniques usually take a little while to power up and Piccolo would be able to dodge them. He also has alot of quick moves that he can use to suprise Tien like the Mouth beam and Eye lasers. Although it would still be a sweet match.

I think Piccolo is a more skilled fighter than Tien.
1-0 I think that they both have a great arsenal of techniques/moves. 2-1 I think Piccolo is a more intelligent/tactical fighter. 3-1 Piccolo can regenerate. 4-1 Piccolo wins. |

Piccolo is much smarter than Tien is, and, as others have said, has much more useful abilities. Splitting himself into four would be suicide for Tien, as each one would be considerably weaker than Piccolo. Also, Piccolo can stretch himself out, probably allowing him to hit multiple targets.

Tien's kikoho can annilate Piccolo much better than the SBC can annilate Tien.
4-2 Actually, at equal PL's, the Kikoho would rapestomp anyone, more skilled or not. They would need to be faster at running than Tien is at pointing his hands at them. Possibly Burter could pull that off. 4-10 Without the Kikoho, Tien gets raped.
