Yeah, my 'scanlation' says otherwise. And the first few chapters of DBZ are scans from the manga, not fan-subbed.

That was released at a time when they just started releasing DB/Z manga, and they hadn't settled on technique blasts yet. It's obviously the same technique.

If the japanese manga says it I will accept it. But the thing is, he doesn't do his whole tri beam triangle thing, its a curled finger ki blast thing.

Kikoho is fired from a triangle made from the hands, not from a punch-like gesture. Its like saying a mouth beam from Goku is a kamehameha(not a mouth Kamehameha, but a normal one)

You'll notice he doesn't have a second arm to complete the triangle.

USSJed: Tien calls the attack Ki-Ko-Ho, and the attack name on your manga is the translation of the attack. I would scan the page if I could, but I don't have one, sorry. It also explains why he was done after using all of his energy in that blast.

Regardless of the hand gesture, its the wrong movement for the attack.

But it was the right name, which is more important. Also, at this point, Tien had only done the Kikoho once before, so we can't really turn to later examples to see how it would work. Does anyone have a scan of Dragonball Volume 12? He uses it in the first chapter I believe.

Tien can't do the attack the right way if he doesn't have his other arm. Goku fired a Kame-Hame-Ha from his feet, so I guess that's incorrect too, right?

Gokusucks: You're right. Tien does it against Goku in the first chapter of #12 of the manga.

Even if Vegeta knew full well what the Kikoho is capable of, Trunks and Piccolo could hold him off long enough imo.

I knew this would come up. He specifically made mentions(or Roshi did, w/e) that he performed a Foot Kamehameha or something along those lines. I think he also did Kamehameha like motions with his feet.

What exactly can Piccolo do to Vegeta? I also don't understand why you think Tien is just going to resort to an attack that could wipe him out so quickly? It's like a last attack he uses when he has no other choice, and he wouldn't have much time to think anyway, since he would be out.
