Who wins? Goku probably has minimal strain with his SSJ2 form, however I believe he is the better fighter here and he might have the stamina to obliterate Super Buu. However Super Buu's Regeneration might tire Goku out I think it's a good match what about you guys.

I think Goku's energy would be depleted before he could end the battle. Gotenks, who I think is equal with Super Buu, got the upperhand with his physical attacks towards the end, so maybe Goku could do that if Super Buu let's his guard down. I would still go with Super Buu.

SSJ2 Goku for the win. The strain of the SSJ2 is not comparable to the strain of the SSJ3, and even with the massive Ki drain Goku could have won the fight against Chibi Buu who is a better fighter than Shin Buu.
Shin Buu was an idiot who was getting beaten up by Gotenks who isn't remotely close to Goku in terms of skills. Chibi Buu on the other hand showed impressive capabilites along with amazing fighting skills. Goku could easily find a way to obliterate Shin Buu, he could just teleport behind him and blast him off.

You think at equal power levels Goku would be able to erase him completely? He was going to go well beyond his ordinary SSJ3 power to wipe Kid Buu out. At his current power equal with Kid Buu, he could not blast him into oblivion, he just couldn't.

Chibi Buu and Goku were even and still Goku had enough power to send him to the other wordl. The same would apply for Shin Buu. Y/N??

You mean to Slimeville, right?
I think the battle has no "Full-Power", and just equal powers only. If Goku could use his maximum power, I think he might wipe him out, but if he can only stay equal with Super Buu, he'll continue to regenerate. Super Buu also is no slouch when you think about it.

SSJ3 Goku with MAJOR UNKNOWN strain>/=Chibi Buu with regeneration In terms of fighting skills SSJ3 Goku>/=Chibi Buu>Shin Buu SSJ2 Goku with MINIMAL KNOWN strain>Shin Buu with regeneration Edit: @ Evil Vegeta, when two characters are equal, their full power is more than enough to anihilate the other. In fact, even a slightly weaker character can kill a stronger character.

I don't think the strain from the SSJ3 would be enough to make Goku that much weaker. The only time something unrelated to battle had an affect on power levels was when the heart virus attacked Goku. You could noticably see that he is tired and in pain. Goku wasn't shown to be losing any power when he was in SSJ3. People constantly say SSJ3 causes massive amounts of strain etc. I want to know where this comes from. The only type of problem that it created was that it shortened Goku's time on Earth. It was never said to make him weaker.

Majuub, I have a question: What was Vegeta's exact quote about SSJ3 Goku & his ability to wipe out Kid Buu? I'm always interested to see what's in other versions of the manga.
In mines, he just says: "Build up your chi with SSJ3, and you should be able to obliterate him!" I'm tryin to get an understanding of whether this was a direct reference to some sort of chi-blast, or Goku's maximum power in SSJ3.

That means Goku's power was decreasing. Edit: @Evil Vegeta. Avec la puissance de ton Super Saiyan 3 tu devrais être en mesure de complètement le desintégrer. Translated: With the power of your SSJ3 you should be able to completely obliterate him.

Okay, so we have the same understanding then. I think Vegeta or Goku were referring to some kind of chi-blast to wipe him out, but at first, I always thought his full-power in SSJ3 was what they were referring to. Goku even mentions he got close to full-power, but then it stopped.

Ok so Goku's power is decreasing but it's still higher than Kid Buu's. I don't see your point. Goku SSJ2 versus Super Buu is at equal power levels so Super Buu wins. And if you want to discuss decreasing power levels than SSJ2 decreases too as shown in the fight between 18 and Vegeta. Super Buu is superior to Goku in skills. Transportation is not a very storng argument because Goku only used that technique once.
