As I said, he cant sustain his FP at SS3. So he had no other choice. Against Kid Buu it was different. He had the possibility of sustainin it coz it was on Supreme Kai's planet. He just didnt get the chance because of Buus ruthlessness and terrifying power.

Nope. Akira stated that SS3 Goku was the strongest. I don't see how Gohan could be anyway, considerin FPSS3 Gotenks is already stronger than him.
Also, he may have shouted, but whats up with his cocky, confident attitude when Buu entered his own body? Exactly. He was stronger but couldnt hold SS3. |

"FPSSJ3 Gotenks'" two fusees admitted "Mystic Gohan" was stronger than him, and they were already at least even with "FPSSJ3 Goku" long before they even attained SS3. >_>

What he wasnt fighting seriously against Buu. When he was gettin a little serious, he was owning Buu as much as Gohan. It's safe to say if he went ALL OUT, he'd be stronger.

You've made that all up! Vegeta stated that Goku was #1 among Saiyans (mainly to himself) not that he was the strongest. Goku actually got pretty hopeful when he thought about bringing Gohan & Gotenks to go against Buu.
Goku is not the strongest, and every option he had against Kid Buu, he had against Super Buu as well. If Goku was willing to fuse permanently against Super Buu, that means there was no other way.
