Trunks, because of the same reason Evil Vegeta said, and its obvious too because Trunks took King Cold and Frieza out like nothing.

Trunks. He alluded to being his superior physically and mentally in my eyes by the dialogue structure just before he faced Mecha Freeza, though I don't think the amount of discrepancy between them was particularly large. Gohan did expressly state that their chi was "the same" (which, to me, lapses into interpretation), but I'm not sure how well his chi-discerning capacities were at that point (which may err towards interpretation as well, or as false, depending upon what one thinks).

Well, it's pretty obvious. Mecha Frieza is stronger than 100% Frieza who wasn't too far from SSJ Goku on Namek. Frieza recieved such a power up that he was confident enough to think he could take out Goku. He might have been right but still, Trunks took him out like he was nothing. Up to that point Trunk could have been in the 200,000,000.

It's not a matter wether he was at full power or not, if he was even a level reomotely close to the power of Trunks, he would have putted up a resistance but he didn't he died a horrible death without anything else.

He didnt have the chance to go 100% thats why there was no resistance.

The bolded parts are worded exactly the same in Japanese. And notice what they're freaking out about? Everyone is freaking out about the size/strength of Trunks's ki, and then Gohan says "That's the same ki that my father had that time!!"

From the context, it looks like he's referring to the size as well.




“Whaaaaaaat’re ya talkin’ about~?! I can use the Shunkan Idô, ya know?! If I search for a ki that resembles Piccolo’s, I’ll find the planet where the Namekians are at!”

The bolded part in this line is different than the other two lines.
