Yes, but Goku stated that their was alot of strain in the SSJ 3rd Grade form when he reached it, I don't have Volume 17/33 so I can't post a scan but Goku says it (As soon as I find it I'll post a scan) Goku says the strain was alot.

What we know, is that Trunks lasted longer with USSJ than Goku did with SSJ3. Alot longer IMO, and we have no idea how much longer he could have lasted.

True but Goku has alot more speed, and he'll get lots of amazing blows to Trunks.

If Trunks just curled into a ball or did crappy ki blast spamming everywhere, Goku couldn't defeat him, then Goku runs out of power, and Trunks kills him and runs outta power 5 seconds later.

Maybe but Goku can just use Instant Transmission to avoid the Ki blasts.
