Goku VS Vegeta!

This is the one battle that everyone has wanted to see in DBZ but they never had! Now its pretty much a fact that Goku beats up Vegeta, right? But after the final time skipp after kid Buu was killed, before Goku fights Uub in the tournament, nobody really knows how much Goku or Vegeta have improved, so it really is a mystery...

No it isn't. Nothing suggests Vegeta reached SSJ3 therefore he didn't. If he's stucked at SSJ2 he loses by default as he stands no chance against SSJ3 Goku.

Thats pretty bad reasoning, as theres nothing to suggest he did not reach SSJ3 as well. I still think Goku would win, purely because we know he can SSJ3 and do not know if Vegeta can.

It doesn't have to be suggested that he didn't reach SSJ3, because we already knew he couldn't from before.

But I would change it to "Nothing suggests Vegeta reached SSJ3 so he most likely didn't."

Anyway Goku would win for sure, even if they both fight at SSJ2.

Well Vegeta needed a Majin Power up to catch up to Goku in the Buu Saga so Goku was already alot more powerful just from that. They both trained we don't really know however Bulma complained that they never saw Goku unless he visited in between "Training trips" so Goku probably found a good training place. So really I see Vegeta getting closer to Goku on the same level but would still be a good margin weaker. So I'd say Goku even if Vegeta did reach SSJ3. So I'd say Goku.

Hmmm, lets see now. Goku vs Vegeta. Probably like the coolest fight in the entire Dragon Ball universe! Who will win? Ofcourse, its Goku!

Reasons:
During their fight in the Saiyan Saga, Goku surpassed Vegeta and beat him, but then he was unable to surpass Vegeta's Great Ape transformation (Goku: 1 point, Vegeta: 1 point).

In the Captain Ginyu Saga, Vegeta was unable to defeat the Ginyu Force whereas Goku managed to beat them (Goku: 2 points, Vegeta: 1 point).

Goku beat Frieza Final Form as a Super Saiyan - indicating that Goku had alot of strength even back then and managed to turn into a Super Saiyan - whereas Vegeta didn't (Goku: 3 points, Vegeta: 1 point).

Goku was unable to defeat Android #19 - due to the disease - but Vegeta was (Goku: 3 points, Vegeta: 2 points).

Goku died in the Cell Games Saga whereas Vegeta didn't (Goku: 3 points, Vegeta: 3 points).

In their fight in the Babidi Saga, Vegeta was strengthened and recieved more power due to Babidi's spell, whereas Goku was weakened than his normal strength due to the Halo - since he was dead -, but Vegeta still faced trouble in fighting Goku. If Goku was alive he would've beaten him easily (Goku: 4 points, Vegeta: 3 points).

Goku reached Super Saiyan 3 before Vegeta - which shows how much power he had in turning into one (Goku: 5 points, Vegeta: 3 points).

So, Goku clearly wins. And besides, if Super Saiyan 2 Goku can't handly Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta, then surely Goku Super Saiyan 3 can defeat Vegeta Super Saiyan 2 easily, thus giving Goku the victory!

Goku will win. Even if they're at a similar level of power, Goku will still manage to win.

He's a more skilled and composed fighter.

The halo has no effect on the person's strength, it just makes them more durable.

And like the guy above me said, the laws of DBZ say Goku will win.
