Yajirobe vs Tambourine

Scenario: Instead of sending Cymbal after Goku, King Piccolo sends Tambourine. Yajirobe steps in because tambourine torched his boar.

Tabourine with ease. Goku did say Yaji was the toughest guy he ever met, but I don't think he was stronger then Tambourine, who Daimao states to be several times stronger then Cymbal.

He did, though. It was when he was telling Tambourine to go check out the site where Cymbal was at. He said somethin along the lines of: Even though you're several times stronger then Cymbal, you have to be careful because he destroyed one of the demon warriors or somethin.

Yajirobe, with slightly more difficulty then Gokuu had.

They were nearly matched in strength, admitted by Gokuu, even if Yajirobe had some trouble with Cymbal.

Yajerobie was able to take Goku's hits better than Tambourine. Plus Yajerobie always has his sword, so really I'd say Yajerobie with some difficulty.

If it wasn't stated that Tamborine was stronger than Cymbal, I'd think the opposite was true. Seeing how Goku and Yajirobe were so close, yet Cymbal gave Yajirobe some challenge, while Goku owned Tamborine.

Yajirobe wasn't really struggling with Cymbal. Like he told Goku, "I'm just usin' him to get my exercise". Once playtime was over, he simply killed Cymbal in one stroke.

That, coupled with his performance against the had-been-fed-so-no-excuses Goku, makes me think Yajirobe could beat Tambourine.
