Yea, but we are discussing 100% Frieza vs SSJ Trunks, not Frieza(suppressed) vs SSJ Trunks as far as I know.

You do know the difference between not knowing how strong a character is right now, and knowing from history how strong a character was, right? Everything about Frieza was well-documented by the time of Trunks.

In order to know how much someone really is you have to feel his chi. Trunks never felt Frieza's 100%

No, you DO NOT. Everyone else that Trunks ever knew had "felt his power", and knows exactly how strong Frieza is. You think Trunks never found out? Then how'd he know Frieza ever existed in the first place?

I guess you're going to say that he didn't know who Frieza was, because he never saw him before...

The truth is we really don't know what percentage level Freeza was using whilst fighting SSj Trunks. But you'd think he'd at least be 50% if he were going up against a Super Saiyan...? But consider Freeza's mind stability at that time. He was literally terrified of Goku and the Super Saiyan. In the manga, as soon as SSj Trunks transforms into an SSj, Freeza quickly lashes out, "You're the one...who's going to die!!!", and fires a ki blast at him. Then from there Trunks diverts his attention with his Burning Attack and kills him. So, it's very possible that Freeza's instability simply got to him and he burst out in fear without thinking first. It's possible he was at his suppressed power.
