At the end of Dragonball Z, Gohan is Mystic or Unlocked. He is the most powerful unfused character in Dragonball Z.

If Elder Kai unlocked both Gohan and Goku, who would win in a fight and why?

This fight would take place during the Buu Arc because both Gohan and Goku are at their peak.

Goku is at his peak at the end of DBZ, not In The Buu Saga.

Gohan has far more latent power then Goku could ever dream of. Goku would be around his full-power as a SSJ3 if he got his unlocked, and we know Gohan is beyond that. Gohan wins.

Gohan has always had incredible hidde powers, and Goku has never shown he has that. Gohan is just a special hybrid.

Gohan has alot more potential then Goku SOOO Goku will have powers beyond his SSJ3 level or above but still not nearly enough to beat Gohan. So Gohan wins hands down.

It was always clear throughout DBZ, Gohan had the hidden potential that nobody else could dream of, not even Goku.

Piccolo stated that Gohan would be stronger than them all, and it came to be.

ya gohan hidden abbilites far exceds anyone elses, for how young he is throught out most o f the series n how long of peroids he goes with out traing he has awlays been able to keep up with the others or surpass them. some where in the cell saga goku even say in a flash back of when him and gohan were trianing in the hyperblic time chamber that gohan posses hidden power that he could never even begin to imagine. that come true at the end when he outclasses everyone else with his mystical power up. so gohan takes the cake handsdown
