Yes, people have their own opinions and I agree to the fact. But, wasn't it stated in the manga that "Goku has grown much stronger since his last battle with freiza?" (Im pretty sure I remember reading something of that sort, if not, I apologize) Reiterating the fact that he played with SSJ Trunks when they tested eachother out.
