Who do you think wins this fight? I'd say Gohan but what do you guys think?

Gohan. MechaFrieza isn't as awesome as people claim. Even if he's stronger than his all-organic form, it isn't by much. He only thinks it would be stronger than what Goku showed on Namek.

And Gohan's beyond that.

Why does everyone think Gohan's weaker than Goku was on Namek? Because Gohan wanted to be as strong as Goku was "before he died"? What, Goku never got stronger in the 3 years AFTER Namek, before he croaked?

Hell, Goku was a lot stronger than he was on Namek the second he got back to Earth.

He probably did, but it wouldn't be that big of an increase. Just regular training.

Trunks: "a pushover like Son Goku". Which, by the way, is NOT how Trunks viewed Gohan.

Trunks >> Goku on Namek.

Goku when he returns to Earth then blocks all of Trunks' attacks with nothing but a finger. Even if neither man is using anything close to full power (which they aren't), the same ratio is there. 5:4 = 20:16.

From "pushover" to "my finger's a badass" is quite an increase.

Trunks knows how strong Goku is on Namek? He was trying to inflict fear into Frieza, as well as saying that he won't waste any time to finish him off.

Why the hell wouldn't he? I'm pretty sure he's talked to Gohan before, also, in the future timeline, the characters were weaker than they were in the present timeline, so he may have been comparing himself to the Goku he remembered of the future timeline.

I think SSJ Gohan would win as well. He was confident in his ability to defeat Android #17, though that was mainly about the #17 that used about a 25% of his power against him. That #17 is still beyond Freeza in power, which is why I think Gohan would win.

And Trunks' effort was in his sword. So it doesn't matter. Goku > Trunks.

And Goku's finger wasn't moving on its own. It didn't suddenly get a speed increase just because Goku "focused". Goku was faster than Trunks.

In every way, Goku was uperior to Trunks at that point. And he was inferior to Trunks before that point.

No it isn't. To go from "a pushover" compared to Trunks to being stronger is a significant increase.

And that's based on what Trunks had been hearing about Goku all his life; Gohan probably made Goku seem even stronger than he actually was, and Trunks still didn't respect that level of power.

Future Gohan would win. Goku (Trunks Saga) totally destroyed Mecha Freeza in Trunk's timeline, and Gohan isn't much weaker than Goku.

The pushover statement holds little value considering the situation where it was said. And "pushover" could just refer to the fact that he would waste little time to take out Frieza.

And we don't know how much power Trunks and Goku were using in their "fight" so it's conjecture at best.

And yet he was impressed with present Goku's Trunks saga level?
