Adult Gohan. He may have only been at a shadow of his former power, but I lean towards a discrepancy that's significant but not that significant. That ingratiates me to see the younger, one-armed Gohan as the winner whilst procuring my assertions. Even though it ranges in construing, the younger Gohan expressly stated that the glancing damage Complete Cell left (the "post-explosion" one he severely underestimated, despite that the SS2 state is rather chaotic in nature, and not necessarily reined, with damage doled out that's rather massive when, especially revving up and filling chi) cut his chi in half. I know that amount of lost chi is a matter of interpretation and can be disputed, but I don't see it as such. He did manage to defeat Cell, but I'm not sure the older Gohan would so wantonly allow that opening (he didn't seem as knowledgeable in combating, but I doubt his kernel of intellect became that feeble in that regard over the 7-year duration).

Ki is energy, not his strength. His ki is what was halved.
I could have sworn I did this example before: 21st World Tournament. Roshi vs. Goku. Roshi tries to use Kamehameha, and cannot. His energy is GONE (just like Goku's, at this point). In other words, his ki is totally drained. Goku sends Roshi flying from the ring. A Roshi with no ki left. On the way down, Roshi kicks....so hard that he literally buries his foot in a solid block of concrete, and completely STOPS the force of gravity pulling him toward the ground. With no ki left. Now, I don't know anybody who's strong enough to bury their foot in a concrete block, much less couter gravity like that. Roshi's strength at that point is clearly - clearly far, far beyond that of a normal man. Yet, he had no ki left. So, if ki was the same thing as power, Roshi would NOT have done that. He would have only had the strength of an ordinary guy. Ki does not equal power. It's just a part of it. Even though Gohan is minus half his energy, his overall strength does not drop nearly as much. |

Ki still contributes to overall power, and losing half of that is still losing a lot. Not to mention his physical strength should be down as well.
The only thing uneffected should be speed, and that was a mistake on my part. Still SSJ2 Gohan (Buu arc) should be more powerful by quite a bit. |

Gohan did say he lost half his chi; however, what Goku says informs us that he didn't lose that much power.

I would place Adult Gohan's dead even with his Injured Younger self. But all adult Gohan would have to do is, take full advantage of Teen Gohan's injured arm...Like gather ki in his hand and blast the shoulder the moment his shoulder is left open, which wouldn't take long for that to happen.

No way SSJ2 teen Gohan is only as strong as himself at about 60% power. That's beyond too much of a decline in power.

But how do you know Adult Gohan is weaker and Teen Gohan is Stronger? Because if Teen Gohan did lose half of his power level, then I seriously doubt Adult Gohan lost more than that over the 7 years...

Wait! I'm kinda confused? I usually refer to Cell Games Gohan as Kid Gohan, and Buu arc Gohan as teen; just to let you know.
Gohan stated that he lost of his chi, which unables him to use a full-power kame beam like he would want to. There is no way that teen Gohan can decline so much in seven years, to the point, where he's only able to rival his weakened self in power. The only one who talks about his power is Vegeta.
