You can get your confirmation if you so desire, but it's pretty clear to anyone who knows Mortal Kombat properly that Netherrealm is the Mortal Kombat Universe's HELL, it doesn't take a genius to work it out.

So you are in fact wrong, Netherealm is HELL in the Mortal Kombat Universe.

Also Netherealm is where all the dead fighters go when they die, and have a tainted soul. To deny this is like denying HFIL is Toei's DBZ's version of Hell.

Also true, Shinnok used to be one of the Elder Gods until he wanted to take over. He was banished to Netherealm/Hell for his crimes against the Elder God and was lowered down to just 'God' status, like Raiden and Fujin for example.

He then overthrew the ruler of Hell, Lucipher (Satan, the Devil) and took charge of the infinate realm (i.e never ending).

Shinnok is an Elder God, or technically God now, and in the Mortal Kombat universe that makes him immortal.

He also managed to overthrown Lucipher (as in the Devil) and take control over Hell (Netherrealm).

Wrong, have you ever got in depth with the MK storyline? Because if you did then you realize that Johnny Cage, who is low tier in MK, can beat Radditz.

He probably knows very little about it considering his prepostrous claims and statements.

So what if Liu Kang is a human(even though the elder gods empowered him to beat shinnok) he could beat Vegeta.

Also, Shao Kahn could vaporize vegeta with a simple thought.
