I was just curious, and I am always willing to hear and try to understand other peoples opinions, but I was wondering, who do you think is the single most powerful character in Dragonball Z. Singlemost, with no fusions, absorptions, tag teams, or anything of that sort.

To be honest, it's more like this:

Ultimate Gohan>>>Super Boo>>>ssj3 Goku>=Kid Boo>>>ssj2 Vegeta

Depending on the opinion, Fat Boo is either weaker or stronger than ssj3 Goku. Also, Evil Boo's strength, compared to Kid Boo's, is debatable. Some people think Evil Boo=Kid Boo, while others think that Kid Boo>>>Evil Boo.

Goku said he was stronger than Fat Buu. He said that just before his fight with Chibi Buu, it's the definite answer on that matter, that makes him stronger than Fat Buu since it was stated.

I heard somewhere that in the original Japenese he had a hint of doubt in his statment about Fat Boo. That's why I thought that the matter was up to speculation.

Was it ever stated, and I mean fucking flat-out, that Goku is stronger than Chibi Buu? I want either a scan or a quote that's supported by multiple people.

No it was never flat-out stated SSj3 Goku could kill Boo. However, it's very hinted upon. Here is the Japanese panel where Vegeta states that if Goku reaches full power he should be able to obliterate Boo. Afterwards, Goku makes no attempt to correct Vegeta and say "No, he's too strong." He says something along the lines of "I've been trying to [reach full power]! But it would take me a full minute to get to full strength." I would give you exact translations from Viz and stuff, but my manga is at my other house. I'm good for scanning though.

Well, the first time he said he wasn't sure he could beat him, he said that to Piccolo, but the second time he said that, there wasn't a shade of doubt, he just said he could have beaten Fat Buu nothing else.

Vegeta said that Goku SHOULD be able to obliterate Chibi Buu at full power. In my translation, Goku said he's been trying. Maybe he meant that he's been trying to reach full power, maybe he meant that he's been trying to obliterate him.
