Pay attention to all the parts listed in bold.

I did, so what? Krillin was stronger than Tien in the Android and Cell Saga, so what does it matter that he stopped training in the seven years? So did Gohan, but obviously Tien didn't overtake him.

And Tien was no longer part of the Zet Senshi by the Buu Saga, he left with Chaiotzu... it doesn't count.

It counts.

Tien is by far the strongest human alive.

And Yamcha said that based on what he knew, Tien had buggered off with Chaotzu before the Great Saiyaman saga even started. How on earth would Yamcha know?

And more importantly.

Why would anyone take anything Yamcha said seriously?!

There is more quantity of proof towards Tien being stronger than Krillin.

Actions speaks louder then words..so yeah tie nwhen left really wasnt part of the z senshi anymore so tien by along shot since krillin never did anythig to proove his power

That's not Yamcha's quote. If you're going to use quotes, you should get them exact.

And Yamcha wouldn't have to be lying, just ignorant. When was the last time he felt Krillin's full power, or felt Tien's power at all?
The only thing Yamcha would be going on is how strong they were at the cell games.

What Yamcha said should not be taken seriously, as it was said to Krillin's daughter herself, and he'ld hardly say Tien was stronger than Krillin to Krillin's daughter.

There is no way Yamcha would know Tiens' PL, but he would easily know Krillin's PL. Yamcha's statement cannot be trusted.

Also it's from Yamcha... the comic relief of DBZ, I find it pretty farfetched that anything he said would be taken seriously, especially since everything he said before was pretty much inaccurate and a joke.

Exactly on my side too! If Yamcha doesn't know Tien's powerlevel or can't sense it, Tien obviously wasn't training. Please try to explain this.

No I think you misunderstood, Yamcha hardly knows anything... he didn't sense Tien's PL because he wasn't looking for it, Yamcha pretty much quit the Z fighter business after the Cell Games. This involved all the "sensing PL" stuff.

And no I can't explain what you said because the notation that Tien wasn't training because Yamcha didn't pick it up is crazy. Tien was probably several miles away, and Yamcha's PL sensing abilities were out of practice.

And it's not like Tien to not train, it's his entire character.

Also what proof is there to claim that Yamcha ever sensed a PL in the Majin Buu saga? Like I said, he slacked off the Z fighter stuff, never in the Buu saga was he combat ready... he led a quiet passive existance, to a degree.

I'm sure Yamcha can still sense PLs if he really focused, but he was out of practice because he didn't need to sense any PLs for a long time so he probably didn't bother (as there is no proof to show he was)... he probably could sense it automatically if it's extrodinarly high which Tien wasn't, but then again... neither was Krillin.

Yamcha sensed Gotenks chi, along with Super Buu's as well. Just because he's a weakling, doesn't mean he lost a basic skill.

Did this occur in the manga?

If so, has anyone got a scan, i'll be interested in finding out if Yamcha actually did maintain the chi sensing skill.

But isn't there a difference between chi sensing and power level sensing?

Sensing power is all the same when you think about it. If you're referring to something far away, and nothing in front of him; then, no, that doesn't occur in the manga. There wouldn't have been any reason for such to happen, though.

Krillin is as good as anyone when it comes to chi-sensing; yet, Piccolo had to tell him when Buu changed into Super Buu.

Personally, I think it's the trousers Yamcha wears in the Majin Buu arc.
