SSj4 Goku (Theoretical) vs. Ultimate Gohan - Page 3

You don't need to master a super saiyan transformation in order to ascend to the next level. Goku didn't master ssj2, but he was able to ascend to ssj3.

They didn't even mastered SSJ2 in order to go SSJ3 that's why they have an enormous Ki drain, Goku just pushed the limits of his body. That's why I said mastering a SSJ3 is somewhat possible since they'll never be able to reach it due to the massive drain the SSJ3 impose, if you still have that Ki drain while in SSJ3, then don't even think going SSJ4 will be possible. The first step would be to at least get rid of that drain and to control the SSJ3, Goku can't even do that. That's why I say MSSJ3 would be possible, it's not like they couldn't handle theirselves as SSJ2. Gotenks didn't seem to have the same probleme as Goku did since he was really powerful, he didn't deal with the Ki drain. I think it's safe to assume that if Goku could handle it like Gotenks did, he would be in the same league as SSJ3 Gotenks. Now multiply the power of SSJ3 Gotenks by 5x and he is beyond Shin Buu and even Shin Buu(Gohan absorbed). I believe Goku would still be fairly weaker than SSJ3 Gotenks, but he would be much stronger than SSJ3 Gotenks, Shin Buu or Gohan.

I really believe that, if Goku could perfectly handle the SSJ3 than his power would have to be really really great.

SSj4 is a side state to the original Super Saiya-jin states. If don't think SSj4 has a massive ki drain at all.

We're talking about a theoretical, canon ssj4, not the GT one.

Oh yeah, forgot. Excuse me, I've been gone for weeks. And by a theoretical SSj4 you mean a what-if 4th state of the original SSj line?

Yes, that is what I meant.

I made this thread just to see people's differing opinions on how strong it could be.

At the time, most of the PL-listings that I saw had Ultimate Gohan about 4 or 5x as strong as ssj3 Goku, so I thought that it would be intresting if ssj4 had multiplied his power by about that much.

well the power increase from ssj3 to ssj4 is just phenomenal. ssj4 should finish Mystic Gohan off unless goku runs of energy then gohan would win.

If you take what the anime says as canon, then Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku is stronger. The Toei DBZ anime claims that the last Boo incarnation was the strongest of all of them, a statement never made in the canon manga. If you use SS4 Son Goku as a possible opponent for Ultimate Son Gohan, then you have to consider the anime's take on the Boo vs. SS3 Son Goku fight as canon. That means that in the anime the third Boo + Ultimate Son Gohan < the last Boo = SS3 Goku < SS4 Goku.

But if you don't see the anime as canon, then Gohan wins strictly by default. It's all in how you see it.

I don't know if you know but, we're talkinb about a ''canon'' SSJ4, we're wondering if Goku had the ability to go SSJ4(Not the GT one, a theoretical one) at the end of Z, would it be enough to cover the gap between him and Chou Gohan.

On another note: So, you're The Chibi Kiriyama, I heard from you a lot of times but I never actually saw you. It seems you're really knowledgeable about DBZ. I can't wait to see your posts. Glad to have you back man.
