The difference between their powers wouldn't have been that big either way. Not enough to make that much of a difference anyways, expect fo Ki techniques which Yajirobe does not possess.

Yajirobe is definitely tougher than Tien because Goku said yajirobe is the toughest he's ever met after he met both Yajirobe and Tien. Besides, Yajirobe can dodge ki attacks. I'm not saying Yajirobe would own Tien but I don't think Tien could beat Yajirobe at that time.Yajirobe would barely win. Tien<<Goku=/>Yajirobe. It was said in the manga. It was said in the anime. What else do you need? Yajirobe is stronger than Tien, but, though Tien would still lose in the end, the fight would be made evener by the fact Tien can fire ki blasts and Yajirobe can't.

Yajirobe could cut tien in half. Tien could fly, use multiform, or solar flare to get away from this attack. He could even use a kikoho.

Yajirobe is impressive, but unless he had the element of surprise, I think Tien could hold his own and avoid yajirobe's blade. But then again

Tien Could underestimate yajirobe's speed and get caught in a nasty cut . I dunno good fight if you tihnk about it. It could go either way.
