SSJ2 Goku & SSJ2 Vegeta vs Fat Buu

What if they both went to fight Fat Buu ? - no SSJ3 allowed -

Majin Vegeta, or SS2 Vegeta? I know that both of those are Vegeta at SS2, but I think Majin Vegeta is quite a bit stronger then Vegeta's regular SS2.
They (SS2 Goku +Majin Vegeta) might have been able to beat him, but I doubt it. Fat Buu posed somewhat of a challenge (not a tough one) for SS3 Goku when he fought him, and I don't think that (combined) SS2 Goku and Majin Vegeta are as strong as Goku's SS3.

It was said if Ssj2 Son Goku, Vegeta, Son Gohan, and Piccolo fought they would lose.

It wouldn't even make a convoluted difference of sorts. We don't know Majin Boo's mysterious roof and it's the equivelant of saying Kuririn and Piccolo would deal away with Nappa if they fought as a duo. Did they? No. They were paltered with sheer whim by Nappa, and Piccolo nearly succumbed to lapsing into the level of unconsciousness with Nappa's eyes glaring as if it was a normal daily chore when he turned his glance. More to the point, the amount of said power Boo wielded that wasn't anyplace close to his roof, which was already lengths ahead of SSj2 Goku, as limpid facts go to show. Given these facts, it wouldn't make a difference.

Unless they fused, Fat Buu would defeat them. Majin Vegeta already proved to not be a match for Fat Buu on his own and considering Majin Vegeta = SSJ2 Goku, SSJ2 Goku probably wouldnt win either. Together, I dont see any breaking difference that would give them the advantage except for (as mentioned) fusing to form SSJ2 Gogeta

Exactly. Ssj2 goku=majin vegeta and vegeta was pretty much owned. Also, majin vegta>ssj2 vegeta so probably, Boo would just make another blast like that and hurt both of them. He takes this.
