Gotenks faught Buu and lost. Unless I'm thinking of a different Buu, in which case Gotenks would win .

I'm refering to Buu after he split up between the Buu of Wrath and Mr.Buu and lost most of his powers as a result.

I'm inclined to believe, base Gotenks would be above Fat/Mr/Good Buu. Good Buu was a good deal lower than half of Majin Buu's power. And Gotenks wasn't killed against Majin Buu, which makes me believe he wasn't THAT much weaker.

All up to how you interpret the SSj multipliers to be with fellow fusion in question (Gotenks, that is), and how you size up to the amount of power Boo lost as Mr. Boo, which makes it that much more mysterious the notion. Though I myself am of the belief that even post-RoSaT base Gotenks wasn't quite immensely strong enough to battle even Mr. Boo on tantamount footing, it is, again, open to said construing, if that doesn't sound bedraggling.

Unless, Gotenks goes SSJ3 and uses his ghoust move, Mr. Buu.

If you look at the 26th Volume of the DBZ manga, it shows Mr. Buu fairing much better than SSj2 Vegeta against Chibi Buu. So, I would think that Mr. Buu is stronger than SSj2 Vegeta. Now, considering the fact that Base Gotenks [Pre-ROSAT] survived Majin Buu [Fat], it is plausible to say that Base Gotenks [Pre-ROSAT] is most likely stronger than SSj2 Majin Vegeta. If that is so, then Base Gotenks is very very close to Mr. Buu in power. For if SSj2 Vegeta was a bit weaker than Mr. Buu, SSj2 Majin Vegeta could be stronger or just as strong, and since [according to my post] Base Gotenks [Pre-ROSAT] is stronger than SSj2 Majin Vegeta, he is thus stronger than Mr. Buu. That is my thought.

I think mr. buu would defeat base gotenks because buu defeated gotenks when mr buu was just majin buu. Also mr buu did better than ssj2 vegeta did in the fight against chibi Buu like Broly: God of death stated. At that time ssj2 vegeta I believe, was stronger than ssj2 majin vegeta. So I have to say Mr buu would win.

You guys are forgetting Mr. Boo could regenerate his body unlike SSj2 Vegeta, but still Mr. Boo would be stronger than Vegeta or Gotenks.
