The biggest evidence I can see for Goku's GT strength is that he was able to eaisly beat a Cell that said he was more powerful then ever meaning he would have to be around a Super Saiyan 2 in strength, in order for this to be true Goku would have to be at Gotenks level of power so this means that in GT SSj3 Goku=SSj3 Gotenks, now while following a 2x multiplier that means that SSj4 Goku would be around Gotenks Boo's level of power.

SS2 Vegeto, Syn being the strongest villian was stated by the narrator not by a character. Anyways, read Sephiroth's post (there's another reason why Son Goku ssj4 is around Gotenks Boo in terms of power). What you are trying to do is concoct a power for ssj4 Goku had he been in the canon world. There however is one key thing that you are missing, ssj4 isn't in the canon world. And according to Toei Son Goku is far stronger than Shin Boo. Personally I think that if you're talking about ssj4 Son Goku, then you have to go by Toei's law of "how strong he is." I mean, there is no canon ssj4, the only one that exists is non canon. And if you were to create a theoretical ssj4 (that you think would have x amount of power had he existed in the canon universe) IMO isn't correct. Seeing as the topic is about ssj4 Son Goku (And he does indeed exist in GT). And since I'm sure this topic is about that particular chacracter (and not a theoretical one that doesn't exist) then you have to go by how strong he is according to Toei (Since Toei is the one who created him). And if I'm correct the "VS" forums allows non canon characters to be involved. I personally feel that if you don't like it then perhaps we should stop discussing GT as it get's even me tempered at some of their logic. But what can we do? Toei created GT and they are entitled to make a character as strong as they desire. The best thing to do (in terms of "canonicness") would be to stop arguing GT, however I assumed that by taking part in this debate you are willing to discuss the non canon. I think I'm being as clear as I can be (based on my belief). Although if I am not please let me know. On a side note, I hope I'm not aggrevating you as I would not like that to happen due to the discussion of "silly GT." If I am let me know and I'll perhaps stop with these posts of mine. But if not, then I'll be more than hapy to continue this debate.

Well also look at that syn has almost no part in this debate, this is SS4 goku vs Shin Buu not Syn vs Shin buu.
Goku SS4 could nto beat Syn, he was a little bit stronger than Nova but I dont see even syn beating buu he's too cocky. back to the toipc Ss4 Goku is stronger than Shin buu but just because your a litltle stronger does not mean you will win, look Shin Buu absorbed Gotenks, Gohan and Veggetto MEANING (LIKE i HAVE SAID 100 TIMES) Shin buu could absorb Goku and therefore the battle would be over and Buu wins.
