Perfect Cell, Ssj 2 vs. Kid Gohan Ssj 2 - Page 3

Gohan's confidence in his strength even upon Cell's return kind of says
it all, but....I'll go into detail anyways. SSJ2 Gohan stated that his
power was less than half...that power, in addition to Goku's, was
enough to overpower and kill Super Perfect Cell. Goku is a lot weaker
than Gohan at this particular point in the story. If his power was less
than half, and Goku's added power doesn't even fill up half of that
other half, then what does that say for SSJ2 Gohan at full power?
Basically, for Super Perfect Cell to be stronger is a logical and
mathematical impossibility.

I'd say that's pretty conclusive.

Are you saying that Gohan was amazingly stronger than SPC, becuase if that blast reduced Gohan to less than 50% I highly doubt that Gohan would be that strong. Now if your saying Gohan is stronger by a little bit, I'll believe that.

Goku never actually gave Gohan any power, He was just there spiritually

Now this just my oppionion but I don't think Gohan wasn't at 50% when he killed Cell, I think his power was raised, maybe at 75-80%

We also really don't know the true power of SPC, He never got to show it becuase he was distracted by Vegeta before he could do anything!

So now your debating stated fact? It was stated that his power was less
than half....and in the end, you're making it sound like he's stronger
than I'm making him sound. If he did it on his own power the gap is
huge. If Goku lent him his power, then he's stronger by a fair amount,
though not by as huge a margin as you'd make it seem. Either way, it's
pretty much solid fact at this point to state that he's stronger.

I have to disagree with you SS2 Vegeto. I too believe Goku was there in spirit to help Gohan bring out the rest of his power at that time. He hadn't mastered the form, therefore, still had dormant power to be brought forth. IMO, that was still some potential power not brought out full by the SSj2. IIRC, Gohan was holding back to not damage the Earth and was just all around worried about the idea that he wasn't strong enough to beat Cell with one arm.

Actually, it took Gohan everything he had to pull that out, even with
Goku's support. When Goku suggested the same thing you suggested
(holding back), Gohan informed him that such was not the case. However,
either way, he's still stronger than Super Perfect Cell.....

Less than half, yes that´s stated in the viz-version.

But Gokou pulled Gohan to his max, and probobly beyond it.
And Bejiita distracted Seru as well.

Both seemed pretty confident before the fight.

I´d say Seru, becuase he was also a SSJ2, had instant translockation, was able to regenerate, was as smart as Gokou, Bejiita, Fruiza, Daimo Kordu and Pikkoro combinded. -- and Gokou alone is the best martial artist (not strongest though)

The fact that he was able to kill him at less than half by drawing out
more power that he had, whilst Cell was at full, sort of proves that
he'd have what it takes to beat him if he were at full power, doesn't
it?

Cell wasn't at full power remember! He was about too maybe, when he told Gohan he was going to finish things off but was distracted by vegeta before he could do anything! And like it was stated, Gohan was holding back because he was worried about the planet, when he let loose his power it had to have risen higher!
