How can he be 50 post Roshi training? He pwned Muten Roshi (and please don't imply that Roshi is at 50 at that point its a stupid arguement, Roshi is going BACKWARDS not forwards, he never trains)

Alright, reps given. Many fold is 3x or more?

Roshi trains throughout DBZ whenever Krillin is staying with him. And it wasn't until AFTER the Korin training that Korin stated Goku>Roshi, not before.

but goku was dead even or maybe slightly weaker than Roshi in the 21st budokai (he gave him a tough time), yeah but Roshi didn't train in DB especially not pre-21st budokai since he had his hands full with Krillin and Goku

Actually, he claims that he trained before the 22nd Budôkai, so he could try to win the tournament. He also trained with Goku and Kuririn before the 21st for 8 months. :D

Anyway, the translations:

Alright! Reps coming your way eventually... so Goku doubled(jap) or tripled(eng) in power, and it wasn't until after he took the 'magic water' that Korin declared that Goku had surpassed Roshi.

He didn't train with Goku and Krillin he just trained them

As for the 22nd well...he could've gotten stronger but not by much IMO

Did he not do the exact same exercises as Goku and Kuririn during that training? That's still training for him.

As for the 22nd Budôkai, he trained for 3 years in anticipation of another bout with Goku, so I don't see why his power wouldn't have increased greatly.

Yeah but he was used to that regimen by now and I think he only demonstrated it to them once.

You're right about the 22nd though but I think that by the time DBZ comes around he's back to his 21st budokai state.

But my point is he couldn't have been 50 or whatever at the 21st.
