Ok, at what point of the Cell Games-Buu Saga or Buu Saga-End of Z do you think Tien retired in? By retired, I mean stop training except to maintain health. I'd also like to know what information, if any, was used in your decision.
I personally think he retired a little after the Buu Saga. Why? Because Retired Krillin just went to watch, and retired Yamcha did nothing, but Tien actually went and fought. Edit: Changed my mind, Tiens only 43... he probably retired around the end of Z, when he was 51. Hell he could have gone on another 15 years before the usual age.

What the fuck? he never stoped training, he always had his training cloths, so there is no proof you and I have if he ever trained or did not I say he never retired because of his weighted cloths or whatever the fuck he had.
I´m actually tired of this Tien shit, I hope someone makes a ¨Final Tien Topic¨.

Lol, speak of the devil, I'm making USSJed's final Tien topic.
Now anyway, do you think Tien did not retire/retired after the end of DBZ?

Personally, I think characters like Tien and Piccolo would never quit training all together...they just aren't the type of person to throw all those years of hard work away so no, I don't think Tien *retired* at any point.

It may be something we can only conjecture at, but I would say he pronounced his intentions to give up when he refused a run in the RoSaT, just before the Cell Games. He had a hand in things here and there, but Tenshinhan was cognizant that he no longer could be useful in combating the foes of the Zet Senshi in the way that he once could.

Well, when he reached say 70 or 80 He probably did considering by that time his body would basically start to become weak. he wouldnt go down to the power of say,2. probably like 5000.

I think he did mild training, basically just enough to keep up his current power.
But yeah I agree with LSSJ7, it was pretty obvious that he knew he was outclassed and had no reason to try to gain more power. His plans of defeating Goku were a lost cause, there was no immediate threat, and he probably just wanted to live the rest of his life in the mountains with Chaozu.

I don't think he ever stopped improving to some extent. I believe he always improved even if it was only by a small margin. I'd say Tien came close to retiring around the End of DBZ, in one panel when Goku is going SSJ3, Tien is shown in warm clothes but after Super Buu fires his Human Genocide Attack Tien is shown to have a T-Shirt on having just dodged the Ki blasts so I'd say if Tien retired it would be around the end of the Buu Saga.

I was actually pretty impressed that Tien and Chaozu dodged those ki blasts...I know they were only generic ole ki beams but still they were from Super Buu...
