Tien//Semi-Perfect Cell

This has nothing to do with the *Tien PL debates*...I'm just curious as to why his Ki-ko-ho stalled Cell for so long considering Tien was considerably weaker than Semi-Perfect Cell.

Couldn't Cell, being far superior to Tien, just have dodged/blocked/deflected the blasts and went straight after Tien and ended it though?

He couldn't believe he was stopped by Tien, so maybe. I don't think he tried that much to be honest.

True...maybe he knew the attack wasn't going to do any damage, just stall him, so he waited for Tien to get tired...or maybe he just didn't care about Tien, A. 18 and his perfect form were within his grasp and he just wanted to absorb her.

I think Tien just used everything he had in his attack, while Cell just stupidly tried to ignore it.

Honestly, at the very end of DBZ I would put Tien at being able to take 2nd form Frieza.

Considering he deflected a Gotenks-absorbed Boo energy blast with his own...you have to give him some credit and a decent PL IMO.

I think at the very end Piccolo could've sparred with full power (not super perfect) perfect cell...or at least supressed perfect cell and hold his own.

The attack had enough destructive power to knock Cell down and inflict a little damage. Thus Cell was unable to get out of the hole.

I think that makes a bit more sense than alternatives like "Cell didn't want to get out of the hole" or "Cell was blindsided 5 times before even realising Tien was attacking him"

The attack had enough force to stop Cell dead in his tracks as he flew at Tien to kill him.
