It was stated in the Viz Manga that Freeza never showed his 3rd form to anyone. (Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin and Vegeta were the only ones to see it supposingly) The question is why did he never show that form to anyone?

It's very possible that he suppressed himself into that form without anyone being there to see it. I don't know?

Well it hard to ansver... About manga, actually there were no plan to do this. About Freeza himself... He rather not neaded to use 3rd form to do stuff and/or it is/was so unstable/hard to controll.

P.S. I Just guessing as i don't know real situation in the timeline.

He probably was like Zarbon, and didn't want to show that hideous form to anyone.

I would think it's like this:

1) Freeza was far too powerful in his true form, and while I think he had battles within that form, decided to suppress himself to keep his power under control. He would've probably grew much weaker if he stayed so powerful.

2) Freeza likely suppressed himself into the weird form, and likely didn't clash with any powerful enemy, so he would have no reason to use his powers in that form. After (I wonder where Zarbon & Dodoria were?) a while of no combat, Freeza decided he needed to suppress himself into another form, which is the giant form.

3)Freeza stated he didn't need to transform against King Vegeta, so the possibility was there. I think he would've used that form to take on some powerful being somewhere in the universe at some point. He also stated an instrument would measure his power over a million, so he seems to understand that form. Well, he stated that he didn't know if he could keep himself under control in that form, so maybe not.

4) Freeza finally suppressed himself into his most relaxed form, and basically has so many cronies to do everything for him. The way Freeza struts around in that chair, I doubt he had combat many enemies.

So overall, I believe he never had anyone try to combat him in his weird form, so that's why he stated such. I also found it funny how Freeza stated "no one ever dodges that" when his finger beam was beinf dodged, and Goku just deflected them a bit earlier. Maybe Freeza forgot about using his weird form?

Doesn't Freeza state that he was compressed into those forms at birth in order to contain his power?

Dodging is different to deflecting.

Well, Vegeta seemed to go into detail more about transformations, while Freeza just said his transformations are different, since he uses them to keep himself under control, instead of transforming to unlock more power.



Yes, but Freeza makes it seem like his finger beam is flawless when you look at the way he says it. Why be so surprised at someone dodging it when Goku, in a much weaker form, just deflected them? One seems (Deflecting) to be more impressive then the other.

Yup, which means he pushed himself into them and just releases as he needs more power. He'd never needed as much power as that before.

It was that and the short range that it was dodged at.

It's only stated that his weird form was never seen, not any of the others. So that was likely the only form that never battled.

I took that to mean that he'd never shown it to anyone before because he'd never had to go high enough.

Yeah, same here.

I tend to think that in his youth when he trained with his parents he used his second form. And later his first form became his main use.
