Ok, imagine someone epic like SSJ3 Goku was sleeping. Could you plunge a fork into his eye(or a knife or whatever) causing massive damage, or would the fork bend or disintergrate etc?

I doubt it would hurt him, but a rock did hurt Goku when he was a SS.

If Vegeta/Gohan/Piccolo was feeling like a bastard, then I imagine that they could do it pretty easily. However, I doubt a normal person could.

I don't see why not. If Goku is asleep and not putting out a lot of power I don't see why the fork wouldn't be able to hurt him.

If he was at his base...it would hurt just like a regular person would since he'd be caught off guard but at SSJ3? No I don't think so, he'd probably say 'hey that tickles'

I always considered an opinion that his skin remains always the same. He just can emit some Ki outside and this energy becomes his natural armor.

I'm not so sure about that. Krillin went from being an above average human to someone who could catch bullets in his hands after Roshi's training. No matter how strong someone gets in real life, a bullet would still pierce their skin.

If SSJ3 Goku's guard is down, it can possibly do a lot of damage to him. Just look at how Krillin in the Freeza saga could blast a hole through Vegeta who fought on on the same level as 1st form Freeza when his guard was down.

I don't think it would hurt him because you see that would make it very easy to kill off any main character. Any villian could just invent some spell to put everyone to sleep and stab them in the eye with a fork. The rock in the face thing was probably just another plothole.

No it wouldn't hurt SSJ3 Goku, at least I doubt it would although I don't think he could sleep in the SSJ3 state in the first place but who cares. His eye likely would be fine kinda like Superman when he was shot in the eye.
