Do you trust Frieza's judgement?

Ok, we have all see what an idiot Frieza can be, the terrible judgements he makes when it comes to power levels(not to mention that he cannot even sense them), so how reliable is his 'I'm at least 1,000,000' quote?

Could he be full of shit? Or just simply mistaken?

He said he was over 1 million, I trust him, probably he transformed and Ginyu or somebody from his army told him about his power level before everything happaned in Namek of course.

Except by the times Frieza is shown to not be able to sense power, and the times that scouters explode at much lower levels, therefore being unable to detect higher power(as well as 'If any scouter could read it')

Freeza stated his power was 530,000 in his first form, which had to have been scouted somewhere. I'm sure he knows how much power he could gain with transforming, so he doesn't need know the exact number. Vegeta stated he wouldn't change that much, but he was utterly wrong. Just do 530,000*2 and you get 1,060,000.

It could've been just as simple as that.

It's possible that there are large-scale scouters out there used to detect larger power levels like Freeza's. More likely is that AT wanted a large number to shock and terrify.
