Goku said he never wanted to see Freeza's face again, he also gave Freeza the chance after reaching 100%, he also gave Freeza another chance by giving him a little Chi and Freeza was still so much of a dumbass that he blasted Goku and Goku killed him (Or supposedly) so yeah, Goku has given him 3 chances already. He's given him plenty of opportunities, so how is that "Heartless"?

I mean seriously Freeza threatened if family and Friends WAY, WAY too much if he lets Freeza live Freeza will NEVER CHANGE. So yes, I believe Goku did it and it's righteous anger in my eyes.

Exactly and Ironically that's how many chances Freeza had:

1. Reaching 100% and Goku said there isn't a need to fight anymore.

2. Giving him Chi

3. Freeza could have just forgotten about it and been grateful that he survived but no he tried to kill everyone on earth AGAIN.

So yeah, Goku wouldn't hold back.
