I'm not out here for opinions, so much as stated fact. I've heard many people say that, as an example, "Goku's increase would be higher than Tien's." I'm not saying it's wrong, but I'd really like to hear if it was ever stated that Saiyans get stronger faster than humans. If you only have an opinion, I'd like to hear your logical explination as well.

All logical, mature replies are appreciated.

They get stronger when they recover from near death experiences, but I don't know of any exact quotes from the manga because I don't read it.

There's no real quote regarding that. When you look at Goku's power increase at Kami's, and the humans power increase at Kami's, their training boosted their power far greater in six months then Goku's power was boosted in three years.

Goku got like a 20x increase from Kaio's training, while the humans were stated to potentially receive more difficult training then Goku did. It all depends on personal opinion, I guess.

Goku only got bigger increases through being Goku. Vegeta basically pushed himself harder than anyone else. Saiyans just tended to push themselves more. When did you see any human doing gravity training up to 100Gs?

I wonder why people often state that Goku got a larger increase then the humans on King Kaio's planet. If he pushed himself harder, I can see it, but the human's seem to have gotten harder training.

To me, it looks like Yamcha, who I've heard was there as long as Goku, could logically have gotten a larger increase in power then Goku.

But yes, good point, the no human even tries to push themselves as hard as the Saiyans do.

Goku also trained with weights, and we never saw any of the humans with weights at that point. That could also boost his power pretty good.

So, then, if Goku tries as hard as he possibly can to get stronger, and Tien tries with the same determination and rigor, do you think that he might equal Goku's output in training?

I think that he could, if they both had weights and trained the same way.

Possibly, though the training had to have been very different. The humans were training to take on the Saiyans, while Goku was trained to take on Piccolo. All of the humans got huge increases after Kami's training, and I think we can agree if they all trained under the same regimen, they wouldn't always receive greater increases then Goku.

Tien was stronger then Goku after training with Korin and training on his own, and this Goku is above the power he had against Piccolo Daimao. So I'm sure Tien is very efficient in training, but I don't think he's more efficient then Goku.

I don't see why not. However, if the training was largely based on sparring, Goku might increase slightly faster due to mini zenkais?

I have to agree, I don't think his training is more efficient than Goku's, but I'd say that there about the same.

Let's just say the training was King Kaio's traning, an area that get's much debate.

There is no proof that shows that Saiyans get bigger increases than Humans under the same training conditions.
