Gohan SS2 or SS1 against Dabura

While I'm TOTALLY sure that this thread MUST have been made before sometime, since this is one of the most controversial of the very small and unimportant DBZ tidbits, still I want to know the MFG members' opinions. Do you think Gohan was SS2 or SS1 while fighting Dabura??? In the anime I'm sure that Gohan started fighting at SS1 but later powered up to SS2, but in the manga there's not as much evidence either way. SS2's features include spiky-er, crazy-er hair, and blue lightning. Gohan had the hair but not the lightning while fighting Dabura. I think the hair is a more important feature than the lightning, which would mean he is SS2, making this one of the very few times that I disagree with DarthVenom9808 (he made a youtube video about this)

So anyways, for those of you who are about to post "tl; dr" just read the title and post your opinion

JC, lets face facts here. Although its fucking stupid not to turn SSJ2 against Dabura, Gohan lacked the SSJ2-lightning(not to mention the power), and was losing to a being that would stand no chance at all against a Super Saiyan 2.

Think what you like, but as far as I am concerned he is a Super Saiyan 1, and I don't see why this topic needs to be dragged up from its shallow grave and trampled on yet again.

Anyways, How would you know that Dabura wouldn;t stand a chance? Dabura's, like, a hella strong monster-demon-thingy. Seriously. And the lightning isn't the only feature of an SS2, there's also the more crazy-looking hair, and that looks like more of a distinguishing feature to me. Lightning is just an indicator of using power, it doesn't just surge around an SS2 all day or some shit, lol.

It's impossible to know for sure. What we do know, is that MSSJ Gohan>Perfect Cell, and Perfect Cell=Dabura. Unless you think SSJ2 Gohan<MSSJ Cell Games Gohan then theres no way Dabura would win.

The hair is nearly the same as SSJ1. The Lightning is the most distinctive thing, followed by the aura, then the hair.

I think Dabura>Perfect Cell. I know SS2 Gohan>Perfect Cell (using full power)>MSS Gohan>Perfect Cell (not using full power) And I don't know exactly where Dabura comes in there, but there is no good reason to think Cell>Dabura.

The SS2 hair is a lot different. SS1 hair is very calm. SS1 hair is almost like flat paper that's cut with a view spikes at the ends, but not 3D. SS2 hair is very spiky in every view of it. Its on DarthVenom's video, but for some reason he says its still SS1. Hair has always been distinguishing for SSes, while lightning is just a sign of huge power. When an SS2 powers up or uses an energy attack there should be lightning, but just standing there doesn't always give lightning. I'm not saying Gohan was "just standing there" against Dabura, but I didn't see too many things that call for lightning. I'm gonna check on mangafox but I'm pretty sure.

Goku states Cell=Dabura

He does not say which Cell, but popular opinion is Perfect Cell(CGames), not Super Perfect.

Okay, then Cell=Dabura, that means it isn't Cell>Dabura like you said before, we were both wrong for that. Still, SS2 Gohan had a tiny bit of trouble against Cell, and he got weaker after the CGames for lack of training. I just read on mangafox, Gohan didn't use any energy attacks or power up until he was dipped into water. Energy attacks and powering up use lightning, when an SS2 isn't doing either of those there isn't always lightning, and then when Gohan fell into the water, lightning doesn't seem very likely since...You know, he's wet.
