Since when the lightning around a SSj2 aura is electricity? If I am not mistaken everything you see a Saiyan, Namekian, etc do in DragonBall is just chi. Even Paikuhan ultimate attack (I can't remember its name right now) isn't made from fire but from chi.

The lightning is nothing more than the excess chi being burnt off IMO.

I wouldn't say "chi being burnt" because chi can't burn. Chi can vary from shape, size, color, etc so I the lightning isn't nothing more than simple chi.

When Chi comes out of an SS2 (I sound like I'm talking about them crapping or something, don't I, lol) it apparently takes the form of lightning, and lightning is electricity. Energy is energy, whether it is Chi or electricity, and in a form that similar to lightning, it can be effected by water. I'm sure Toriyama at least knows that electricity can't be surging all over a wet guy, and I don't think he put too much thought into it after that.

Well lightning is lightning, chi or electricity, its still lightning, and I've never heard of wet lightning.

I always thought SS2 myself seeing how I dont think plain Super Saiyan would have been strong enough to face dabura.

No. Gohan DIDN'T want to be like he was against Cell. When him and Kaioshin leave Goku and Vegeta to fight, Goku tells Gohan to get mad like he did against Cell, Gohan later recounts what Goku said and says to himself "I can never be like that again".

Sorry, but no again. Muten Roshi produces a form of electricity from chi at the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai, he uses it to electricute Goku, which Goku breaks out of the technique when he transforms into an Oozaru.

He was strong enough. Goku stated that Dabra was around Cell in power (pre-zenkai), and Goku and Gohan both could match Cell with MSSj. Gohan did as good against Dabra as he did against Cell with Mssj. I think that Cell was a bit stronger, but Goku and Gohan no doubt got stronger in their Mssj forms over seven years (more so Goku)
