Recoome vs. Vegeta discussion.

Does anyone else think Vegeta actually did a good number on Recoome? There are scenes which show Recoome making painful expressions when Vegeta did things such as stomping on his stomach and such; his hair and clothing were also pretty shreded. Things like that are usually hard to do when fighting someone a lot more stronger, especially in the world of Dragon Ball. It usually reflects the resistance of the opponent by the amount of damage done back to them, and Recoome looked pretty beat up after the fight. So what do you think the case is? Do you think it's similar to 18 vs. Vegeta case where he put a decent fight until he ran out of stanima? Or something else?

Recoom was only fooling around. The fact that Vegeta seemed to had the upper hand was just to show how amazing Recoom was. It was more for the shock value than anything else, just to give confidence to the reader then shift the balance without warning. Also, the fact that he had lost teeth and hair along with his naked butt was more for comic relief.

Nope. Recoome wasn't serious. Vegeta hurt on the level that a 6 year old (punching as hard as his body will let him) hitting a 12 year old.

All i know is that Recome was playing and wasnt hurt a bit......no matter if Veegta got couper a hits on him

Reacoom had blood drawn and most of his trappings removed, but by his nonchalant posturing and Vegeta's own worldly words, no damage was done. Reacoom was basically hamming things up and prolonging the bout. The expression Vegeta assumed also justifies that he was done for - at least he made the valid attempt against Zarbon on all accounts. Just because blood is drawn doesn't mean any one combatant is hurt in any given circumstance. Resulting effects like that are just because of limited openings.
