MSSJ 2nd Grade?

I was watching parts of the battle against Semi-Perfect Cell, and it made me wonder: did Vegeta master SSJ 2nd Grade/ASSJ? He seemed to be in the form for a pretty long time.

Or even, can someone master it?

I suppose someone could master it, hell I believe with enough Practice someone could Master even the SSJ3 level. So yeah, I'd say they could.

No. The idea of mastering Super Saiyan forms was something that Vegeta hadn't even considered. Vegeta was losing power throughout the use of that form.

As to whether it can be mastered... possibly, but I doubt it.

Yes it can be mastered. All it takes is for someone to get used to the form and minimize the strain of ki on their body.

It would be like MSSJ, but more power, and possibly less speed and even the mastered form would probably lose ki faster

The SSj Type 2 and 3 states were inherently failed states within the SSj form itself (due to excess muscle mass nonwithstanding and whatnot); it'd be like mastering something that is anything but. The Complete Mastery of the Super Saiyan state is the mastery of the entire form.

I doubt it. AND I DON'T THINK ANYONE CAN MASTER THE SSJ3 FORM. You can't stay in it long enough

I suppose you can master the 2nd and 3rd Grades of the SSj, but like LegendarySSJ7 said, it would be useless. The person would lose so much speed that it wouldn't really help.

No, because if he did, he would have mastered a form higher than Goku did and therefore probably become stronger than Goku, but he was not.
Can it be mastered?
Probably.

Was SSJ Grade 2 stated to have any flaws? I was under the impression that only SSJ Grade 3 decreased speed significantly.

MSSJ>SSJ-2>SSJ>SSJ-3

I'm pretty sure that SSJ-2nd Grade is overall superior(if not overall far superior) than regular SSJ

If it were superior, then why did Goku avoid it, even though he reached it?
I'm pretty sure he was mentioning both the forms when he mentioned the loss of speed

He didn't avoid it, its just that MSS is even better, so he used that instead. Sometimes he just didn't feel a need for higher forms though, sometimes SS just happens to be enough.
