Cableguy's Power Levels: Saiyan Saga

Yep, it didn't take too long for me to make yet another one, but this time it's with a twist! *GASP*

These ones come with manga scans and power levels to go with them. Kind of like Daizenshuu #7, except not crappy.... Hopefully. So here it is, let me know what you think:

Dragonball Z

Raditz Arrives

Preparing For The Saiyans

The Saiyans Arrive

The Fight Against Nappa

Goku Vs. Vegeta

I only did up to the Saiyan saga because I wasn't sure if it'd be well recieved or not, so be sure to let me know what you think... Or if you think there are any mistakes.

I strongly disagree with Vegeta being that high after energy ball.

He said that it would take "A little bit" of his strength to use the energy ball, so I only decreased him by a small amount.

The toughest part for me was making it all fit on the Word page, especially "Goku vs Vegeta" since there were so many pictures and Power levels. I even had to skip Goku's Kaio-Ken level after the beam struggle just so it'd work out.

By his body reaction, "a little bit" is very hard to believe in isn't it?

His power post beam struggle is too high IMO. Not only did he lose energy by creating that strong blast(which can drain almost half of your power like warp kamehameha), but he also took one head on, which was more than 2 times stronger than himself. If it were not for the plot device, he would die for sure, so him being at 7,500 is too much.

In addition, If I may remind you, during his time as an Oozaru he seemed much like he should be at 30,000 than 60,000. And you already know my view about Gohan's enraged power in that time.

I also strongly disagree with Krillin's attack being in 9,120.

Thats unbelievable.

Krillin would destroy Nappa if he can pull out an attack that strong.

Okay, now that I've looked closely at the levels, I want to know why you have multiple levels for Raditz other than the "hurt" level. Raditz can't suppress his chi, so when he isn't giving a full effort, it just means that he isn't trying. It doesn't make his reading lower.

Another thing I disagree with is the "Oozaru" level. I feel that it would have affected Gohan's true potential at that moment, and would therefore be 10,000+. I personally have it at 13,070, going with the reading Raditz provided earlier in the story.

I also feel that Vegeta's initial level is way to low. When killing Nappa, Vegeta's power up was less than spectacular, and afterwards his power exceeded Goku's Kaio-Ken, even before increasing to full power.

Adding stress to an already stressed body can do that to you.

I think Vegeta's Galickgun took some of the punch out of the Kamehameha. It seems like a good reason why Vegeta would survive the blast, so I just subtracted the kamehameha from Galickgun and got 7,500. I then subtracted that from Vegeta's 15,000 level. Normally subtracting and power levels don't go together well, but I made an exception here.

30,000 would be way too low because of Krillin's reaction to Vegeta's "Chi" when he transformed. Keep in mind, I have Goku's Kamehameha Kaio-Ken x4 at 30,000, yet Krillin doesn't even mention it. He's far more impressed by Vegeta's Oozaru form. So much so that he said his chi "Exploded".

I'm not sure what your view on Gohan's power is, but I think his power increases to meet the situation only. There is no consistancy to it. Vegeta (Post Oozaru) should be stronger than Nappa (Powered Up), therefore, Gohan (Who's powers meet the situation at hand when his emotions fluctuate) would be stronger than when he was enraged against Nappa.

Understandable, but keep in mind that Nappa was afraid of the concentrated blast (Going by expression), and the fact that when the power of that blast was split into 6 attacks, they individually all had the power to kill a cultivar supports it being a very high level.

Well, there's a couple of references made to Raditz increasing his power through out the fight. Such as when Raditz first attacked Goku and Piccolo. After recieving the attack, both made comments towards Raditz not being that strong before (In their previous confrontations with him). Then there's Raditz originally fearing Goku's Kamehameha, which he roughly would have a 1.32x advantage over if he was 1,220 at the time. We see that he runs away from it, but then proceeds to concentrate (To which we hear the SFX "Shaa") and block the Kamehameha.

I think it's similar to Nappa and Vegeta. They can vary the amount of power they use in a fight, but they can't hide it from the scouter. Otherwise their power ups would be pointless.

I had a little bit of trouble figuring that one out, because Gohan's emotions weren't fluctuating at the time, so his power level should be 10. Obviously that's not right, so I went by Piccolo's reaction, which was similar to when Gohan injured Raditz and when Gohan blew up the cliff. So I figured he couldn't be too far off from his other power ups.

Ya, but I still wouldn't put him over 5,000 initially since Goku only says "Such Power" after he powers up to kill Nappa. So I think to start off with he was probably nowhere close to Goku's full power for him to be so surprised.
