Concerning Goku's "power-up" against the Ginyu Force in Hell - Page 2

I think that the reason why Goku "powered up" was to prepare to fight Cell. In other words, he didn't feel like "battling" the Ginyu Force and he was more worried to fight Cell.

Well, the reason is actually rather obvious. Toei, after releasing the teaser for the episode in question, realized that it would be better off to have Gokuu reveal his ability to transform to Paikuhan during their fight. As such, after the teaser was released, but before the actual episode was, Toei had their animators go back and re-color Gokuu's hair so that it appears that he's just in a powered up version of his Ssj state.

2. False SS is also an excellent explanation, just didn't think it would work too well for everyone if I said it was.

sort of, but there are 2 dimensions to "reasons" of why something happened in DBZ or any other work of fiction. The first dimension is asking why the creators decided to do it, and that's what you're answering. I'm answering why the character did it, and explaining what happened within the DBZ universe.

Uh, he's talking specifically about an out of universe thing. The reason why Toei changed Goku's hair color in the fight.

All I said is he's answering with Dimension 1 and I'm answering with Dimension 2, I never said anything about the preview other than "there's a preview?" I wasn't really responding to the specific stuff he was saying, I was just saying how so many people are answering with Dimension 1 its getting stupid.
