What about Kaiou-ken?! Since Kikoho is Tenshinhan's version Kaiou-Ken it is normal both techniques can kill the user.

The a whole different concept. The kaioken puts immense amounts of stress on your body, the ki ko ho just uses too much energy.

Well just think, Tien is taking like, 20% of his power, and multiplying it by 50x with each shot. Its certainly not enough for say, a x10,000 multiplier, but its getting closer to my personal estimate.

2,000,000/5 = 400,000 x 50 = 20,000,000. So unless you think Semi Perfect Cell was weaker than 50% Frieza I'd say it doesn't work.

BTW, if you look closely at the manga you can see that Tien actually uses the KiKoHo much more than 5 times(unless Viz fucked up), as he says hyah a bunch of times, but only 5 times are shown.

Sorry this took so long, I forgot about the thread. I counted 5 Kikoho's, and I just recounted them now and got 5 again.

I can't exactly answer that, I knew what I was talking about when I said it, but have completely lost track of this topic and have forgotten what I was talking about.

So anyway, I want to be perfectly clear on this: Your arguing that Tien multiplies his power level by something atrocious, such as x10,000, by using his own lifeforce(lets say, x500) and then kaioken/kaioken+kikoho(perhaps x20), which with those multipliers would infact equal x10,000?? (This works on the same principal as Golden Oozaru, x10 x50 = x500)

Not quite.

My theory:

Tien's attack is considered dangerous and uses a completely different type of energy than Goku's kamehameha uses. This energy is not based at all on your power level. This energy has the possibility to shorten your lifespan/kill you if used too much. When Tien was at the 22nd Budokai he had the ipotential to release the kikoho at a power level of 2500-3000 or w/e you think it was in the Saiyan saga. His neo ki ko ho is much more powerful, due to some sort of secret he got from King Kai to make it more effective. I don't think it's the kaioken because that would raise your power level, not 'life force' energy, unless he was taught a different method of kaiokoen, which would explain the absence of his aura.

But then again, as darkprince pointed out, kikoho does mean 'ki blast cannon'. Ki equals chi right? And chi has been stated to be equivalent to power level.

Its just not plausible to me that it would have insanely high multiplier.

Define: Insanely High

I don't think that x100-x300 is that high, considering that Saiyans can achieve similar ridiculous increases as transformations.

But any theory that has Tien increasing by 5-digit multipliers deserves to die, slowly.

SSJ is a legendary transformation, a simple attack should not give you those kinds of powers. It ruins the series for me.

Simply attack my ass, the Kikoho is a fucking mental legendary ownage attack, the best attack in the series by far(cept Spirit Bomb, but I'm talking about attacks that user your power and noone elses)

Post Frieza SSJ lost its 'legendary' status, not to mention post Goten and Chibi Trunks, or the introduction of SSJ2.
