I'm in agreeance that the later arcs did not have the same ties as the earlier arcs did. But quite simple, Boo felt like an aborted experiment to me and Gohan / Gotenks becoming the new Goku / Vegeta combo didn't help. Vegeta becoming more humble at the end was good, but his jealousy was inane to no end and lasted far too long (which thankfully was eventually overpowered by maturity and affableness, as he did not adjust well to being surmounted for so long, like water in air). Freeza had too many freebies, and I feel he was better left dead on Namek after what he saw happen (his worst fear, which means seeing into the future too much may not be a good thing, or even predictions of such).

The Cell Saga Arc was always awesome in my eyes, but sadly, it didn't end there (IMO). At least Toriyama-sensei knew where to stop, though. GT is justification enough of what happens when one doesn't.

There was a thread here once I think, it could of been somewhere else and almost all the contributers were saying that it should of ended at the Freeza Saga. I wonder did the majority opinion change over time and certain things stood out after frequent viewing that wasn't apparent before.
I loved the Cell Saga, it was my 1st introduction to the world of DBZ and it was genuinely amazing and well done.
I went back then and started from scratch, but I enjoyed the Buu Saga, I've given reasons why.

Well it depends how long ago it was. There's a completely new set of members now and most of the old veterans have "retired" (read: grown tired of) from DBZ.

Well I'm glad it had the Buu Saga, rehashed ideas aside certain character developments were totally wrth a not so good season. Plus Yamcha was fighting...briefly.
