Mecha Frieza

In the anime it was stated that Mecha Frieza's mechanical parts made him stronger. However, if Frieza's natural, organic parts can withstand ki blasts, being smashed by rocks etc. then how would metal parts make him stronger. I know it was stated he's stronger but it doesn't make sense.

The mechanical parts make him able to react to stuff faster and stuff. It doesn't necessarily make him more durable, just improves his combat abilities.

moreover Freeza ki protect the mechanical parts. Freeza became stronger, he don't kick SSJ Trunks ass because he was at 50%.

I still see him losing to SSJ Trunks at 100%, but I do think he was at less than full power.

Anyway, Android #19 took some severe damage and he is made of metal, who knows how this works

No, Freeza wasn't at full power, probably not even half his full power when he attacked Trunks, although that's just speculation on my part.
