I like the music in the english version to be honest! It sets the scene a bit more.

In my Opinion the Funi music is just random tempo. I like some of it But the japanese music far surpasses it.

The Funi dub has always fucked things up, and I can't understand why some fans hold it with such regard. In my opinion, it's one of the worst official dubs out there.

The thing that I am not fond of is that they have weird dub names for the techniques like "Spirit Bomb", "Destructo Disk", "Solar Flare" and "Tri Beam".

In my opinion, "Fist of the Sun" sounds awesome, but since it's out of sync with the flaps, why couldn't they just keep it Taiyo Ken? They kept the Kaioken and Kamehameha the same, I don't see why they couldn't keep the others.

In terms of translating and a noticeable amount of voice actor's, FUNimation have proven themselves a lamentable, flummoxing farce when dubbing the Dragonball franchise. I'd ask this of them and not much more. But in terms of music and select VAs, I do hold some of their work in high degrees of esteem.

I think they have done a fairly good job, seeing tho it is tolerable to watch the anime in both languages.
As some of us know, some anime's are best watched one way, than the other.

I don't understand how this is a "Re-mastered" DVD if they don't even fix the lines to make them accurate :/ Funimation's clearly in it for the money at this point. They've been doing the same thing with Yu Yu Hakusho for a few years now. (Re-releasing the same stuff over and over).

Did they at least fix the "Over 9,000!" line?

I kinda thought the Ocean dub was ehh because cell sounded so corney in the ocean dub.

Cell, Krillin, Trunks etc.

Drummond played Vegeta's voice perfectly in the early Dragon Ball arcs. Sabat feels right for the later arcs (Mid-Freeza Arc to Buu arc), but he sounds terrible as re-mastered Vegeta. I just don't feel the same menacing tone in Vegeta.

I don't think they would ever change the over 9000 line. It wasn't an accident, they changed it on purpose because it sounds better and adds more drama. And that's probably why they have Bulma saying this line as well.

At least he does a better job with Vegeta here than Sabat does with Vegeta's re-mastered voice.
