As for the base comparison to SSJ2 comparison, if you really need an answer, they just had different multipliers. All my latest lists, have base Vegeta>Base Goku, but Goku has a better multiplier, so they even out. Its entirely possible.

That's how I always looked at it, too. I have base & SSJ Vegeta being a bit more powerful then Goku's two forms.

I see no reason why Base/SSJ Vegeta would be stronger than Base/SSJ Goku. It's completely illogical, sorry.

Vegeta wasn't impressed with Goku's power at all, until he went SSJ2. He could be stronger, or a bit weaker. Even if they have the same form, it doesn't mean their increases are the same.

Logically, if he didn't know Goku could go SSJ2, and SSJ2 Vegeta >>>>> MSSJ Goku there would be no reason to be impressed.

That reasoning could also relate to why Vegeta was so annoyed and not impressed with MSSJ Gohan's power against Dabura if he could logically just go SSJ2 and end the battle in a matter of seconds.

Well yeah, Vegeta is superior than Gohan in every way. He could probably use SSJ and end the battle in seconds too.

What I'm tryin to say, is if Vegeta could just be cool about Goku going MSSJ when he can become a SSJ2, then he shouldn't have kept yelling at Gohan (who he just saw as a SSJ2) for being weak, when he could just go up a level and end the battle.

Was he complaining about Gohan being weak, or just Gohan's lack of fighting skills and the fact that the fight is dragging out longer than it should be?

Goku could handle himself as an SSJ but Gohan couldn't.

Goku could handle who? Dabura? I disagree. If Babi had Yakon's kiri level measured, why would he not have Dabura measured? He saw 3000 but didn't think he would lose to that power.

Well nobody knows why Gohan didn't use SSJ2 to end the fight against Dabura (maybe he just wants a good fight, or you could call it a plot hole). If Vegeta steps in he knows he can win for sure, and he's not the kind to rely on another person.

Anyway, SSJ Goku > SSJ Vegeta not really contradicted... and how do we know SSJ Goku was using full power anyway?
