That depends on how the Dragon classes life. Sadly, it's probably by the most conservative of ways.

O-kay then, new theory. The Z-fighters expected 16 to come back, but he didn't because of how the dragon "probably" classifies life. The Z-fighters always thought that 16 was out there somewhere and never really thought too much about it.

Why reviving 16? He has no emotions. It would be like to revive a toaster. Sure, you'll get your bread, but what else?

Well when they wish back the earth it seems the buildings come back too.

That's because... they wished that the Earth would be restored to how it was before Boo destroyed it. That has nothing to do with reviving living creatures.

Yeah, it's probably because when they wish the Earth back, they wanted it like it was prior to its destruction. Good one though.

It reminds me, in volume 42, Dende wished everyon back except from the criminals and the evil beings. Do they know the world will be screwed as there will be no politicians.

Goku and Gohan are the kind of people who care about all things that are even kinda-sorta-ish alive (even if...Technically they aren't alive) and Gohan ascended to a SS2 after seeing 16 die. Seriously, I think they care.

He's shown emotions countless times. Robots can have emotions. Maybe in this universe we can't program emotions, but this is a work of fiction here man.

I'd say since the Dragon probably didn't classify him as "Living" he didn't bring him back, but if they directly wished for Android 16 I'm pretty sure he'd be able to come back.

The Dragon would have been able to restore him, but I doubt he'd see it as bringing him back to life.

16 was an awesome character, he deserves so much more praise than he gets. His only arc was the Artificial Human arc, and was killed at the end. While 18 comes back. I am aware 16 is full android, while 18 and 17 were cyborgs (part human), but still... 16 kicked ass. It was the cool, Austrian, kind of 'terminator' aspect going. They should have kept him for the Buu arc, he's twice the character that Chibi Trunks and Goten were. His personality also pissed over 18's.

16 was one of the characters that made the Artificial Human arc come to life... no I'm serious. The success to series is pretty much, most of the time, support characters. The Saiyans were the main heroes, Cell was the villain, 16 was the support character in the background that gave the arc some solid support. Plus, he looked cool, yup you heard.

16 was a good guy, he was an enemy of Cell, and even diverted away from killing Goku, the mission he was created for. If it wasn't for 16, Gohan wouldn't have gone Ssj2, Cell would have won.

No 16 = Victory for Cell.

How the hell is 16 a useless character?

18 was a useless character in the Buu arc, people don't bitch about her ~~mainly because they want to bone her~~.

16 leaves = Dragonball starts to suck.

Majuub was talking strength-wise, and I agree that 16 was an awesome character. I thought he rocked.

I couldn't believe they didn't wish him back somehow.

I mean, him dying was the the thing that got Gohan super pissed and made him turn into a SSJ2
