Wishing back 16? - Page 2

Obviously, the dragon can't bring him back. They wished back all of Cell's victims (this is how 17 came back), and 16 didn't appear. If he was able to be revived, he would have been with that wish.

#8 was actually a cyborg. The scars and the Frankenstein monster look didn't tip you guys off?

What about the eating, the crying and the sleeping? :D

Also, for what it's worth, chapter 367's title page (the one that talks about all of Dr. Gero's creations in detail) doesn't explicitly label #8 as a fully robotic type. Although, it doesn't explicitly say that he's a cyborg, either (unlike the sections for #17, 18 and #20). :D

Didn't #16's chips get smashed?

At the end of the day, he was just a machine; ignoring GT's allowing #19 to be around, I always assumed that... those chips that cell smashed contained all of #16's memories, personality etc. That would sort of explain why they wouldn't rebuild him or get Shenron to wish him back together again- they could do, but it wouldn't be Android 16. Everything that made him #16 was smashed until Cells foot, the exlosion, and the dramatic ki battle.

I am, however, horribly reminded of Wreck-Gar fixing Ultra Magnus after virtually the same deal when I think of it now, though xD

If it was through all the epic fisticuffs that was Gohan vs Cell though, wouldn't they be.. pretty much vaporised? I can't remember the battle in detail off-hand, but considering who we're talking about and everything that happened during the fight, I kinda got the impression that... anything that was left was gone.

So repairing would mean making a copy or new one; which means it still isn't really the #16 that helped them out.

Considering that transforming him from a Jinzou-ningen back to a normal human was beyond Shenlon's capabilities, then it stands to reason that Shenlon wouldn't be able to reconstruct him, since that could be considered a comparable feat to accomplish. Besides, while Juurokugou did seem to have a semblance of a soul by the way he talked and acted, he was simply an artificial construct, and simply re-assembling him doesn't necessarily denote that he would act the way he did before.

16# can't get revived. That's kind of what made his death so special for me, because he couldn't come back. Unlike Goku and the rest of his fuck buddies, who, by the end of Z, can basically come back to life when ever they stomp their feet.

OK, the hatred part of my love/hate relationship with DBZ has rekindled now. Great.

That's a good point. 16 was special. The Z Senshi went in and out of Otherworld so much they might as well have installed a revolving door =/

Why didn't they wish back everyone that had been killed by Cell and the Androids?
Everyone would of come back. I believe that Shenron is more than capable of bringing back Android 16.
It may be a great acomplishment to create Androids like him, 18 and Cell but it's nothing compared to the wonders Shenron has done.

Shenron can't do anything that Kami doesn't have the power to do.

I still think that he could reconstruct an android. If not then someone should have, instead of just forgetting about him.
