Same Chi

Okay so what were the exact lines made when Kuririn (I think) said that line about the Ginyu Force having the same Chi and Gohan's comparison of Trunks' Super Saiyan Chi to Goku's. Viz (I'm looking at you Tyro) and Original (I'm looking at you Chibi) would be appreciated.

I think it's "they have the same size chi" and "that's the same size chi as my dad's on Namek"

I think the Japanese lines are something along the line of: "they have the same chi".

My scanlation said same Chi, so I am betting thats what the jap version says

The bolded parts are worded exactly the same in Japanese. And notice what they're freaking out about? Everyone is freaking out about the size/strength of Trunks's ki, and then Gohan says "That's the same ki that my father had that time!!"

From the context, it looks like he's referring to the size as well.

“Whaaaaaaat’re ya talkin’ about~?! I can use the Shunkan Idô, ya know?! If I search for a ki that resembles Piccolo’s, I’ll find the planet where the Namekians are at!”

The bolded part in this line is different than the other two lines.

Herms kind of put up a good point against me in this thread on Daizenshuu EX, but I still stand by my statement that the context makes it look like Gohan is referring to the ki size.

Anyone else notice this?

That the same ki is bolded, and used as proof that they are the same, when about is not bolded, and changes the meaning somewhat.

I noticed the word "about" before it so I didn't really care that the bolding was "misleading".

I was bolding "onaji ki," which is "the same ki." The "about" just means that the three of them don't have the exact same strength, in my opinion. It was irrelevant to the point that I was trying to make, in any case.

Ah thus it is true then that recoome,jheese,butta; have about the same ki. But how it's said in about the same, could they actually be weaker in terms of ki; compared to recoome?
