You expect me to believe that the original bearer of the body would be able to do that well against Piccolo?

Actually I just thought of another thing. Weren't you supposed to die when using the Mafubu? Why didn't Piccolo(or Kami) die when he reversed the effect? Or why didn't Kami die afterwards?(I might have missed something. I read volumes 12-16 last night half awake xD)

Kami doesn't take the power level of who he possesses, he has his own power but cannot utilize it's full potential on another body.

Hey, I didn't write the manga. Kami didn't exactly switch souls (or whatever) like Ginyu did, he actually jumped inside the guy's body. So the guy's body had some added power from Kami, I suppose.

As for the Mafuba, I've never quite understood how it works. I mean, Tenshinhan was able to practise it a ton of times before confronting Piccolo, even though he intended to die after using it on Piccolo. So maybe it's the act of dragging the demon's body all the way down to the container that puts a huge strain on your life? And maybe Kami and Piccolo were too strong to die using it at that point? I mean, I can't exactly imagine it killing Super Saiyan 3 Goku, so it could just have to do with your strength.
